So where is the current institutionalized racism in the US?

@Farmland - I'm not trying to argue that any racism in the US is acceptable. I just don't think its fair to bash the US for racism when there isn't a country nearly as large as us with the amount of minorities in our country.

I would have to guess he means Affirmitive Action... because it's MUCH less racist to pretend races don't exist and that racism doesn't exist even though there are 30%+ percentage point difference between races. (France.)

Europe isn't less racist.  Just more willing to cover their eyes and pretend they are less racist.

Europe is definitely less racist than the US. Here's a thought, how about give the benefits to the better man, whichever the race? That seems to work here.

Theoretically this should be the case, but we all know this far from reality, even in europe. The reason Europe in general dont have affirmative action is not because they are not racists, but because the % of black people in continental europe is tiny [comparative to USA]. The benefit therefore of implementing affirmative action, be it economic or social,  is not worth the effort/costs.

Affirmative action is not perfect, but for America, the economic & social benefits of affirmative actions far exceeds the benefits of not having one in place. It doesnt mean that they are any more racist than Europe.
