Wow, that's a completely ignorant statement. You've generalized the entire 360 audience by cherrypicking facts and giving biased and ignorant opinions about games you've(from reading your post) probably never played. I own a 360 and a PS3, and I love the massive amount of hit games on both consoles. I'd wager that despite huge success in the shooter genre, the 360 has much more diversity in its software sold, considering I'd assume that it has simply sold a shit-ton more software. The large exclusives are probably less than 3 percent of the overall game pool, and you are acting as if mulitplats don't exist, and that games like Assassin's Creed, Forza, and Fable don't sell well on the 360 which is wrong. American's like shooters, yes, but to say the 360 is a "shooter box" is bringing up an ignorant argument that wasn't even right when it died 4 years ago. |
I finished both games back in the days when I still owned 360. To me GeOW was like a bad movie with good special effects, visuals keep you entertained as long as you watch it but when you walk out of the cinema, you realise how bad it was and in the end regret the time and money you've spent on it.
There's quite a lot of multiplats that are not 'core shooters' and sell better on PS3 (RE5, FFXIII or even AC). Show me at least one game (exclusive or multiplat) that sold more than GeOW on 360 and is not a shooter.
