Let me put this anouther way, the highest rated game by meta that is not a mario, fit, play or sport title is Zelda, twilight princes. Units sold to 70+ million wii owners 5.52 million. This is the second highest rated game on the wii... The second highest exclusive on the PS3 is little big planet, 3.36 million units to 30+ million users. PS3 games sell for more. There is a greater return for devs on the PS360 if they want to create new games, not exercise videos.

So? The 2nd highest rated PS2 game is a tie between RE4 (3.21m) and MGS4 (5.58m) to ~140m users.  I guess Wii's a better bet for developers than PS2 ever was going by that logic?

Also, greatest return?  Maybe we should compare notes on how many HD focused devs versus how many Wii focused devs have gone through layoffs, sold themselves off or just shut their doors entirely? ;)

You know as well as me that comparing sales from deferent gens holds no water, ...that’s MGS2-sons of liberty and he intimated it was bull that devs were leaving the wii and why would they? I said for the cash. If you mean devs as in creators of say game party 2 staying in business, what ever...

There is only one dev making a lot of money out of making GAMES for the Wii and that is Nintendo, this is all I have been saying. Those who disagree have hardly proved their point.

Developers aren't leaving Wii, at least not as their focus... to leave something you already have to have already shown up. ;)

And several developers and publishers would likely disagree with your last statement.  Capcom notably, who sold more Wii games last year than 360 or PS3 games.  Or Hudson, who now earns nearly as much profit as their parent company (Konami) off the back of mainly Wii games.  Or Sega, who's top 5 games last year were all Wii titles.  Or EA, who credited their Wii exclusives and motion plus games last summer as helping hold the company up.  I could keep going...

Obviously no one makes as much as Nintendo does off Wii... but guess what?  If Nintendo's returns are the standard you're going by, no one makes as much off PS3 and 360 either.
