The graphics continue to set standards, the music is superb, the franchise always takes risks and makes changes. It's consistently the most polised jrpg franchise, and the Final Fantasy brand has an almost legendary status.
And despite my gripes over the years, I like the characters every single time. Vannile, Cloud, Squall, Tidus, and Zidane are okay with me.
