thats kind of the point....what is it 4/5 out of 307 seats for the conservative were outside of england or something

the scots vote snp for themselves and labour for britain, conservative is seen as the english party by wales and scotland,

for me the time of 4 countries pretending to be one is coming to an end,but this is just my view,

i can't understand why the conservatives would vote for something that weakens them and england,i hope they don't

But Conservative didn't do badly in Scotland, not in a way that makes it seem like they have no power there or are 'English'. They only got 1 seat but it's 1 none the less. They came in 2nd in a lot of the constituencies above Labour and SNP and even if you voted for Conversative in Scotland and they didn't win in your area, you might feel having them is power is still what you wanted, whether or not your representative in Parliament is Labour.

It's the same effect that Lib Dems have across the country, they might have got a 1/4 of all votes cast but that doesn't mean they have 1/4 parliamentary seats.

Hmm, pie.
