i agree , i dislike the post apocalyptic theme  , but not all of them , the american ones, where they listen to 60's music and everything looks like a 60's commercial, they lack originality.

only rarely you can find a good post apocalyptic theme that focuses on life rather than being disgusting , sure it is disgusting to be that way , but to be this f@$%ed up is impossible really.

for new games i'd take metro as an example of good theme,   Metro even though it had simillar theme like Fallout , it was done a lot better.

here is some good post apocalyptic themed movie!

i personally would like seeing a CyberPunk (like my sig! )  or SteamPunk (like Dominion!)  WRPG rather than Post Apocalyptic one , those were never done before. (or was done but i never heard of it? )
