for the sales success
I m mixed

the pre-orders are still low.
The sales will depend on how people react to the review

As I have said before, AW is a new IP and like Bioshock at his time, it will need very high praising review to make people think : "this is a must have experience, I buy it"

Also, AW is not a FPS, it is a shooter with a not so badass hero ... It is good for me, but is it good for the average Xbox360 owners ?

Because 360 owners will only buy a fps with a muscle bound baddass hero.

We really need a roll-eyes gif on this forum.

OKI, you are only the one that seems to have problem with my post

let's put it in another way specially for you

AW is basically a survival horror (= niche game) that may have problem to sell well

But did Heavy Rain have problems to sell well in your opinion?

- Heavy Rain was massively advertized

- Heavy Rain was SINCE THE START advertized as a special game with a special experience, neither good or bad, just very different.
The review said the same, everyone was happy, it got quite good sales for a new IP

- AW was hyped since it became 360 exclusive as the best gfx ever AND as a survival horror that is so different/good/special that it can't be called/compared to a survival horror.
The review said it was not the best gfx on console AND it is not that different than a survival horror shooter

(from what I got, you take RE4, put Twin Peaks setting + great story = AW = a very good ... survival horror game)

- Heavy Rain pre-orders were superior compared to AW pre-order (I m betting/guessing from my memmory) AND PS3 install base is 2 fold inferior in NA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know how will sell AW but judging on the pre-order AND considering the 360 base is heavly targetted on badass shooter WITH MULTIPLAYER , I m not sure this game will match Heavy Rain sales (I still dont think it will bomb...)

Time to Work !
