Hey I've got a couple of ideas which might not necessarily be correct - but will show initiative and creativity:
Mickey's first outing in an episode 'plane crazy' ended in him crashing a plane, also the audience didn't receive him that well.
You could claim that you're first outing in this class was about as successful as a 'plane crash' but that as Mickey did, you are gonna change the audiences opinion of you and succeed!
