I suspect the issue isn't about hate, its about too much love for one company which blinds people to reality so they therefore cannot handle that reality. Im certain noone would get offended about anyone attacking company X and noone would bother to particularly target company Y if nobody really cared.
So we should:
Call Sony the retards they really are.
Call Microsoft the bastards they really are.
Understand that Nintendo really are full of themselves.
Therefore noone feels the need to defend any company as they are all treated at arms length and not as peoples personal football team. "Oh no you did NOT talk about Manchester United like that!!" or equivalent team.
