People would be horrified if you called someone a nigger in a non ironic way, but you can easily get away with something some one is a queer or something is gay. Gay people don't even have equal rights in the US. It is not socially acceptable to discriminate against black people, it's still socially acceptable to say you think being gay is wrong and all gay people should just be straight. It's changing though, which is good. |
Eh, I think a Gay guy could be president.
It's just not very likely statistically considering how much of a minority they are.
I think more Republicans and Democrats would rather vote for a gay person then a member of the opposite party.
