yea,
the only way to meet in DS is to agree on a place where to set the blue-eyed-stone message and hope your friend is the first one to find it .. well, other requirements are - comparable soul lvls, one has to be in body form the other one in soul form and you can only summon people into areas you haven't beaten yet (boss has to be alive)
