NMH on HD consoles underperforms compared to the Wii version

They're not actually.  360 version is uncensored, while the PS3 version is censored (like the Wii original was in JP/EU).  There are also documented performance differences between the 360 and PS3 versions, and they have some differing assets.

Ah well, close enough. By 'identical', I meant the same game, not 1:1 carbon copies. The PAL version of Wii's NMH was also censored, the American version wasn't. But they're both still No More Heroes for Wii. You get the point.

 

Now, on a side note... does anyone know if the upcoming PAL version of NMH2 will also be censored, like the original was? Ages ago there were some statements made (I believe by the developer), saying the PAL version wouldn't be censored, or that there'd be 2 versions available at the very least (censored and uncensored). Anyone got any info on that?
