Christhor said: Whoa, I never thought people liked that song this much. I love the music FFX, but I never liked Hymn of the Faith. It was pretty good in some cutscenes, but other than that, meh.
Also FFXIII doesn't have any memorable music, except for maybe the battle theme. All the others are forgettable IMHO, probably the weakest soundtrack in any FF ever.
This is weak and not memorable? WTH?
Yeah, exactly what I mean! My god that was terrible. Alright, I sorta forgot that one... Yeah it's pretty great not gonna lie. Still, one of the weaker soundtracks overall
I think you're pretty much on the minority who thinks that
FFXIII has one of the most solid all around soundtracks in recent FF's. Mainly because, unlike recent FF's which have one or two memorable songs and the rest is pretty much forgetable, FFXIII has a balanced OST that keeps the same pace and tempo through the game.
Dust to Dust is pretty much the only one that distinguishes as a memorable song, but others in the game are also pretty good, like the Sunleth Waterscape or Nautilus.
tht is why i luv its soundtrack. And yeh dust to dust is my favorite out of it, also prelude theme, serah theme. But the boss music saber's edge was very gud too.
bt i still think ff8 has the best soundtrack. (Man with the machine gun > everything!)
>>>>>>> All
tht is amazing (I played FF6 3 tyears ago)! bt i played ff8 when i was 10, u usually form a attchment to games you play such a long time ago, so for me it will be hard to beat the amzing memories tht are invoked when i hear man with the machine gun! Call it nostalgia goggles if u wnt to haha
I agree that nostalgia plays a fundamental factor in preferences, the same happens with me XD
