I'm not saying that racism isn't prevalent. It is. It's still a huge boogey man that exists a lot more intensely in certain elements of the ountry.
But homophobia is more widespread and more intense.
Though onn the original point, Machina is wrong - to the casual observer, it's a lot more surprising that a black man became President.
