I'm glad they removed backwards compatibility. you dont need it and it made my ps3 cost me $100 less. If you want a ps2 is only $70 brand new so just go buy one if you really need to.

sony needs to focus on the ps3 now. new AAA ps2 titles aren't going to come out anymore except for sports games.
