It's not like you have to argue the anime.

However I mean, there are plenty of cases where terrorists are just a group of people that have been mistreated by a foreign controlling force.

Like say the Chechnyan Rebels.

On the otherhand, you could agree that it's way more effective then a direct confronation with a force way more powerful then you, yet still disagree that it's justfied.

Well, arguing that terrorism is bad is much easier and gives me a better impression :P Though I guess the bolded sounds good for a concession. Do you have a (better if it's recent) example where something like that happened?

Edit: What Soleron said could work too.

Offering a cognizant argument fo an unpopular side almost always nets you a better grade in English.

By asking whether or not terrorism can be justified, this essay topic is already placing "freedom fighting" under terrorism, and youv'e seen a lot of media where that's used. The Rebel Alliance are basically terrorists. So is V from V for Vendetta (book and movie). The French underground resistance during Nazi occupation in World War 2? That'd qualify too! Try telling me that shit wasn't justified.
