A large number of video games are designed and tailored for teenage males and young men - the results are predictable.
Is it a good cultural message? No. But the problem is a widespread element of our current cultures. Look at movies, music, etc. As Zen notes, sex sells and will be used accordingly.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
