I loved LBP gameplay. I mainly enjoyed the official levels but there were a lot of great user created ones. However, I tried creating and it just wasn't my thing. Still, I got a great and unique platformer out of my purchase and i'm disappointed that platforming will be focused on less in the sequal. I'm not against what LBP is, i'm just a bit wary on the direction they take the franchise. |
See with me it was the exact opposite.
Though cool in concept and the physics engine being complicated... the actual platform physics were horrible, way too floaty. Every level felt like you were on the moon. Which is what will get me to buy this game if it offers it. The ability to fix the phyiscs and have nice and tight controls and physics.
Everything else was great... but when the core phyiscs in a platformer are floaty and messed up... nothing else matters. Sure I can create my own levels... in a game I don't want to play... Playtesting becomes more like a job then fun.
