Its difficult to judge a platform by its sales.
Why is it that the WII is selling so much out there? Why oh Why? Its not about the graphics, or the online, it is because, I thing, its one unique feature that made it different from the rest: Motion Controls, mass appeal.
For example, the Iphone is the fastest selling smartphone out there (dont have proof, but I am personally pretty sure about this) and its not the best of all. It doesnt have the best camera, the best GPS, the best web browser, the best storage device and so on, but it has done something unique: It perfectly introduced the first and one of the best touchscreens out there.
So, I think judging by sales its not the best, specially in consoles.
I personally think all three consoles deserve the position the have right know. the PS3 hase been catching up the last years and making great software, and the Xbox360 is continuosly innovating nd upgrading its online communitty.
