Are the majority of female characters in video games are over-sexualized?

JRPGs do a pretty splendid job of giving everyone in the target audience something to look at.

Anyway, I'm not for any form of censureship regarding those things. For that matter you get that same thing in films and music videos, and adverts and whatnot. If you have a game with some extremely macho guy, obviously targetting guys (except for God of War apparently, because I know too many girls playing that and liking Kratos in a purely not-his-characterization way), you sell to them what they want to see. And it's absent in a lot of Western games due to the target audience, but in other media you get guys in the same role, sex sells in both directions.

As someone who had to live with censored anime for years (including cutting scenes, changing dialogue and sometimes even changing people's relationships completely), I want my entertainment to be there for the sake of me being entertained, not for raising me. What the artistic (and educational) media might think of it, is only of secondary concern to me.

Anyway, I don't like boobs. It's just on a principle.
