The vast majority of them are people who just want a job. Gamestop hired them. They do their best but they don't know as much as we want them to. On top of that, they have to push additional sale items (peripherals, subscriptions, used games, etc.)
There is also the obligatory hot girl. She is usually geeky hot! I'd marry one of those gamer geek chicks (they are pretty hot) but being in an environment where they are the only female for hours and hours tends to give them HUGE egos.
And lastly there is that one guy who is a little too enthusiastic about gaming. He has the knowledge we crave but he doesn't exactly have social skills. There's one in 2/3 Gamestops that I go to.
