Man, sucks to be you if you don't feel anything hearing classic themes from games! For example, that metroid other m trailer... the best part was gameplay... but the second best part was that 5 second theme at the end! Or when the Zelda theme plays in the overworld... or when the boss theme of megaman plays for 2 seconds after choosing the robot you fight! Damn, those are great moments! But graphics are good too :) |
Nice point, didn't really think in that situation, guess I was mainly thinking in modern games which you can easily replace its soundtracks by your own, games like Burnout and Fifa. I still get the chills when I hear that soundtrack of Sonic the Hedgehod 3 on IceCap Zone.. ^_^
But I don't think that's enough to change my previous statement. Perhaps on other gen games, it might be. For example, Sonic R soundtracks are pure epicness, but the graphs and gameplay aren't so good (gameplay is terrible tbh). I remember playing it when I was a kid, and that's the main reason why I still love that game (so many memories), but on a reviewer perspective, it's pretty bad
