This gen is very interesting. Sony and Microsoft might lose to Nintendo in terms of sales but both HD console are very strong and they got more support from 3rd party developer as well attract more hardcore gamer. PS3 will have GT5, Move, 3D and Microsoft have Halo Reach and Natal. Unlike last gen where PS2 control more than half of marketshare for HW and SW sales and attract both casual/hardcore gamer.
Apple is a newcomer in gaming industries. Apple might not as huge as big three in this industry but there has potential to become next strong competitor. After the success of Ipod, Iphone and Ipad i dont see why they cannot be successful in gaming.
