I think the PS2 deserves some place aswell for being the first console to really appeal to mainstream consumers and with that open up a new market that the Wii could succesfully expand.
The 360 defintly deserves its spot aswell, Microsoft's present had its impact on both Sony and Nintendo and with that gaming in general. It brought FPS and WRPG to the consoles and with it different kind of gamers that normally played on the PC. Add Xbox Live and small things like gamerscores and bringing RTS gaming to consoles and I'd say it definatly changed the platform nature that consolegaming had before the xbox.
