Not sure if this was posted but MM have at least confirmed LBP2 and may be implying the leaked details are too:

Sounds great.
For those saying they buy a game to play it consider LBP has over 2 Million levels now custom generated - there isn't a single game available you can play more than LBP (even allowing for only 10% of levels being good that's still 200,000 great levels).
LBP2 is sure to ship with levels but as with LBP the true focus and experience is playing with what the community has come up with, even if you don't want to create yourself.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
