WTF? Is this a different game in graphics?

The graphics are like double what we have been playing the last few days. Maybe it's the scale? Maybe it's had more polish. But if singleplayer is like this with 60 odd units. Bungie really have a chance a best 360 graphics. It's awesome. So bungie. Why is powerhouse and swordbase not like this in graphics?

Swordbase is definately the weakest of the 3 in the graphical department. I guess thats to be expected, what really can you do graphically when you're inside a covenant base? I love powerhouse and I think it looks awesome. Especially the pool in the middle when you see the sunlight reflecting off the walls and the water. The motion blur definately adds a touch. But I agree with you on Boneyard. The graphics really are looking much much better than powerhouse. I actually found myself just walking around staring at the map at the beginning :) I have to say Reach is the best looking shooter on the 360 now.

Yeah I guess. But even textures look crisper. And it might be me, but lighting off of Plasma shots and grenades look to be awesome. Obviously on Launch Reach will have the same detail and effects throughout. But in sheer scale and HDR etc, Boneyard is awesome. Bungie weren't lying when they said they were punching the 360 technically. We all forget that Bungie have confirmed Great AI with loads of units in Singleplayer. I bet with Boneyard level of visuals that will look amazing.
