the 2 main reason are unlike last gen the ps3 is quickly catching up on the 360 where as lasy gen the xbox wasnt coming anywhere near the ps2. also the ps3 has been getting insane amounts of amazing games. lol its won ign's consol of the year last 2 year by a long way andwill prob do it again. where as the origonal xbox had a lack of good exclusive. infact halo was one its it few good exclusive franchises
