Fans don't abandon their favorite when they are in last place.
Fans take a lot of crap from others when their favorite seams to suck and be stuck.
Fans take pleasure in giving crap to others when it is clear that their favorite doesn't suck and is not stuck.
On the other hand, there are a lot of people with single or multiple consoles that one can have a pleasant conversation/argument with. They seam to be the large majority actually.
