HD gen dude, the whole marketing is based on graphics...

We're 4½ years into the HD gen.  As a whole just about every game looks incredible.  Its not marketing, its GRAPHICS OBSESSED FANBOYS that keep making a big deal of this.  Call it like it is.  Gears of War, Halo 3, Killzone, Uncharted, Alan Wake, Forza, Gran Turisimo it just goes on and on and on and on and on.  NONE of those games looks remotely close to being BAD, but look how much time and energy has been spent ARGUING over their graphics instead of enjoying their gameplay. 

I guess I've been gaming so long that I just wish more of us that grew up with gaming would grow up . . .

don't worry, most people agree with you... but the silent majority is... well silent...

Graphics nitpicking is indeed kinda lame after the second batch of games for any console...
