Dog, story board concept art is barely ever highly detailed, let alone rendered in full 3D. It usually consists of a series of chronological rough sketches. It saves time and resources.

Tell that to the story board concept art I have hanging on my wall from the LOTR movies.

OK, so perhaps not "story board" concept art, but concept art nonetheless. In other words it looks hand drawn to me.

Perhaps it's the mutliple copyings of the original image that makes it look non-CGI/in game. If so it still makes it a pointless image for the purposes of a graphics discussion.

Yeah, you lost me with the "story board" part.

If this is hand drawn, it's been touched up with some 3D modeling software; I'm definitely looking at some textures and Unreal Engine style lighting.

However, we've stilll got a long way to go so we should wait for some game footage before we speak. You could be right; you could be wrong.

Though it is a natural tendency of gamers to speculate on things they don't know shi t about...Which can lead to a sense of excitement over something that may or may not end up in the final product.

If anything, we'll see direct-feed gameplay footage at E3.
