Well arent you just full of positive comments today, there's  a reason FFXIII (even though its not the best game in the series) has pretty much outsold every WRPG. But go on....

Japan?  The fact that it has had 13+ iterations to build up a massive fan base?

 

Japan is the big reason obviously (1.9mill)  but sales in the west are combined (PS3 alone) are at 1.84 mill after 8 weeks and still managing 50k+ a week.  Also there wasnt a huge xbox fanbase and it has managed to sell over a 1 mill which is pretty good. My statement was meant to say that the western market also enjoy's a good JRPG and not just WRPG's.

Gotcha.  I do enjoy my occassional JRPG even if I prefer WRPGs.  Lost Odyssey is my favorite JRPG of all time right now.
