One day PS3 will emulate the Wii

Dolphin can render wii games at 1080, thats just as 1080p as any PS3 game.

I think you are wrong. Sorry if I'm mistaken, but the emulator acts as a simple upscaler.

That doesn't mean more detailed textures and better lighting effects, like in the HD consoles.

Those emulators are actually rendering at high resolutions, not just upscaling the image. It's the same thing the 360 does to Xbox games, not upscaling.

On the other hand, most 360/PS3 games render at 720p (sometimes even under that) and upscale to 1080p if they need to.
