well stof, I'd advise on trying out PC games in 3D to see what it can bring to gaming when done properly. Batman is supposed to be great (and designed with it in mind 
Or go see Avatar (or an other 3D designed movie... not the 2D->3D ones).
To me 3D gaming offers just about as much as HD does... not much but a little sparkle... but why not have it?
