The other games you picked were all cherry picked or niche titles anyways.  And 500k is great sales for one region considering the WW sales for those games will be close to a million or more.  Any game that can break that mark is a great success.

I don't know about you, but SC:C, Darksiders, Just Cause 2, etc. were never critially acclaimed, super hyped, well-advertised games.  They all received just average advertising with the slight exception being SC:C which is on it's way to selling 2 million worldwide anyway.

Also, care to comment on the rest of my post?  Such as how it is no different on PS3 or Wii.  Games with multiplayer elements sell more because they have a larger fan base and offer more replay value.  And just because games are adding MP doesn't mean their single player experiences are suffering in the slightest.

Even though I don't exactly agree with the OP, I kinda get what his saying. Outside of Fable and Mass Effect, 360 titles don't do well without some sort of online play or local play (even Fable has online co-op). His motives are questionable, but his question's probably more like 'Why do Heavenly Sword, Infamous, Uncharted Drakes: Fortune, Motostorm, MGS4, God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII  and Valkyria Chronicles all sell well without multiplayer?' I personally think that the PS3 is better for single player experiences, while the 360 is best suited for online multiplayer.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
