The whole purpose for the games multipaltform status was because of the playstation 3s tagprice and lack of userbase in comparison to the xbox 360s. The safe assumption was that more xbox 360 versions will outsell their playstation 3 counterparts because the console was cheaper and had a larger userbase.

And now, the expectation is the opposite. More playstation 3 version outsold its xbox 360 counterparts, despite the playstation 3 selling the least out of the three consoles in userbase.

It was a disappointment that the game was no longer an exclusive as it should because of the series being synonymous with playstation, but because the general consensus of the game being the "worst final fantasy" in the series and got the lowest critic score out of all the numbered final fantasys, do people care any more?

I understand why they did it but as you pointed out the results were opposite and in my op it is the worst ff gam ever played (soundtrack is bad ass though).  I wonder what will happen with future games.

I think this should be a lesson to square enix and realise the signifance of brand recognition. If their games are about quality, stick to one console thats capable of making visions come true.

So true, this is just my op but i compared cg scenes for crisis core to ff13 and i'll be damned if cc looked better. If it was made soley for the ps3 the graphics would have been at uncharted 2 level, maybe better.

it was gud to go multiplat i thnk.

Bt i dnt understnd sum of u say the game is hated, then why is its sales incresing in europe week over week? It has gud word of mouth, dnt strt hating a new ff like u do evry time ff fans, u did it with ff8 (draw sux, squall sux, junction sux) & 12 (vann sux, gambits = game plays itself, music sux), nw u do it with 13. becaus years later u see those same games as "classics".
