if you need one card buy a 5970 2gb.

Im pretty sure the 5870 does beat the gtx470, everywhere i look suggests so. Its the gtx480 that edges the 5870. The gtx480 is a single gpu card, so how can gtx470 possible be the fastest?

 

your right my bad the 480 is the fastest single gpu card, its a beast but for the price your better off getting a 5970 for 150 bucks more which is still leagues ahead

get this though, I got my Eye6 for 460 bucks at a total price =P
