Platform research manager at SCEA says it well I think:

" If you watched a few 3D movies and you'll notice some 3D movies are more comfortable and enjoyable to watch than others. So that's very much a learning process the games and movies are going through together at the same time."

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
