It will most likely remain at Zero due to this:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-alanwake-sub-hd-blog-entry

"Alan Wake is running at 960x540 with 4x multisampling anti-aliasing"

This doesn't mean it won't look really good, it's just that you can't compete for a graphics title with a sub-HD game.

Wasn't that debunked by Remedy themselves?

I can't remember...

Read the article, they discuss what Remedy was defining as 720p

MGS4 runs at sub-HD. And that didn't stop it from winning best graphics awards over Gears of War 2, which, if I'm not mistaken, runs at 720p native.

MGS4 renders in 768p, that should be considered HD. Alan Wake's 540p is truly sub-HD. The vertical resolution is quite a bit extra compared to Alan Wake (this is what matters the most, increased vertical resolution holds more influence on human perception) and the horizontal resolution is also higher.

MGS4 looks great, certainly more detailed than Alan Wake, but IMO Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 look much greater still.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
