I love it so far. It took me a few games. The first game or two, it felt SO foreign. After four hours, I can say I am in love. I'm very psyched to see the Invasion mode. I think that has a lot of potential, now that I see how the loadouts work.
And the cool thing is that you don't see any one loadout being amassed. in about 20 matches, it seemed that it was fairly even, and it's going to make objective games so fun.
I mean, games like Crazy King and Oddball are absolutely a blast with the abilities, whereas before people skipped them entirely. If you are one of those not voting for them, you are missing out on a great experience.
I'm not ready to say greatest Halo game ever or GOTY. It's two maps and a new weapon/loadout system with a couple other tweaks. We need to see more.
But I will say that I really, really, really want to see more. And that's a good sign.
Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
