I don't want to be the guy that says, "The book was better".
The book was better. I didn't even know what/who Kick Ass was until I saw the trailer. I downloaded the comic and I was in awe of how good it was. I wasn't able to see the movie until a few minutes ago (illegally). I was stunned to see that it made so little money in its opening weekend. Reviews were good and the source material was fucking awesome.
The movie missed the point so much that I was embarrassed. How did things go so wrong? I was so hyped to see this movie. I wanted to love it. What a disappointment.
