If you asked me to bet my life on it. I'd take Lebron James any day of the week... because i'd atleast know he was going to give a crap that day. 10 years from now, i think Kobe will be excluded from the "best" lists because of his attidue. Michael Jordan didn't take games off, let alone plays. Bill Russel didn't take games off, Magic didn't take games off Lebron doesn't take games off.
Wilt Chamberlin DID take games off... which is why despite his amazing 100+ point game nobody puts him as one of the best. He'll still be one of the greatest players... but he won't fit into the pantheon of THE greatest player arguement.
Of course, i'm weird in that I'm one of those people that sees Magic Johnson as the greatest player ever, not Jordan, because Magic was only a fraction worse then Jordan and could play all 5 positions. |
Whose your favourite of all-time? I'm guessing Magic? For me it's Shaq Diesel, back in 1992-2006, then again in 2008 he was just so dominate. Hell he's still a top 10 Center in this league and the only person who seems to be able to guard him efficently is Dwight Howard.
