I'm of the (strong) opinion that in racing, or any fast paced game really, graphics don't matter much at all. When I'm playing I'm not paying attention to how good things look, I'm trying to keep my wheels on the road and my tailpipe firmly ahead of 2nd place. The thing that will always make or break racing games is the controls. Not how pretty it is. The only time graphics matter to me in a racing game is if they're so bad, they hinder game play.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said but I don't think you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
