Why are some people mentioning Diablo 3? Do you really think it will be released this year?
OT - one of those 5 games will earn the highest scores, the most awards, the highest praise:
Zelda
GT5
Starcraft 2
Civilization 5
Mass Effect 2
(provided Zelda and GT5 come this year; I'm also not convinced yet that Civ5 will really be released this year)
Unfortunately handheld games don't have any chance. Most of them seem to get lower scores and less attention by default - so games like DQIX or Valkyria Chronicles 2 can only win in categories like "best handheld game".
Personal opinion: If Zelda and Civ5 will be released, they're my top 2 exclusive games of 2010 by default.
