@Bolded: I must admit that I find this statement to be a bit bizarre. If you believe that God exists, but is not perfect, then is He worth worshipping? Is He worth following? Is He worth trusting? How can you know if/when He has your best interests at heart?
I feel that it's got to be all or nothing. Either there is a God and He is perfect in every way, or there isn't one at all.
