Ok tell me as soon as you find out please. If im wrong I will gladly admit it do the person I was discussing with. I cant image Sony whould be dumb enough to force this update on games that doesnt require PSN or new tech. If they are, then too bad for them. The PS3 would have just lost one of his primary purpose that doesnt require a separate agreement or service, this would be easily defendable. We are waiting for your confirmation next week, thanks!
