So I love how all of the sudden Bungie is an elite, well respected, favorite developer to so many PS3 fans. (Skeeuk started this new trend I believe)

and as the counterpoint you have 360 fans who think that Bungie is magically going to become a worse developer because their publisher changed even though the development team remained exactly the same (Aion)

But that has nothing to do with being a 360 fan.  That has to do with knowing Activision and their as of late questionable practices.

PS3 fans on the other hand are doing a complete turn around.  Rather than Bungie just making some "overrated, generic shooter franchise on xbox" they are now some elite developer that will be pushing PS3 hardware to new bounds!  (even though all games will be multiplat, not PS3 exclusive to begin with and Bungie has not done any PS3 development yet whatsoever)

So...because Activision is the publisher, all of a sudden, Bungie will become shitty devs? I dunno...I've had a lot of fun with MW2, so apparently IW didn't turn retarded by having Activision as a publisher.

Also, you are completely bullshitting. There is no "complete turn around". I know I, for one, haven't said anything regarding the recent deal between Activision and Bungie, nor have I ever said that Bungie made a generic shooter. Now, I'm not going to talk them up, because I don't care *that* much for them, but is it so bad to ask if a developer can make a game that looks better than another? You're just trying to start a flamewar

I'm not trying to start anything.  Just pointing out the hypocrisy.  Also, if anything, the fact someone is posting this BS by hiphopgamer is starting a flamewar.

And no, that's not what I meant about Activision, nor is it what Aion probably meant.  We weren't saying that Activision would ruin the quality of Bungie's games, just that they may ruin Bungie as a developer overall.  They may somehow screw Bungie over like they did with IW.  Force strict timelines that cause the game to be rushed, force higher prices for DLCs than Bungie wants, eventually cause layoffs or something, who knows.

And I'm not bullshitting.  You can look around on here and find at least a few PS3 fans that would never dream of touching a Halo game (or at least downplaying them left and right) all of the sudden praising Bungie as a great developer to dominate on PS3.
