As an agnostic, I have to respect religion for their use in history. Religion brought people together as a group. People with a common religion tend to work together. The problem today is that religions are so different and consist of so many people that they become stumbling blocks when it comes to uniting the planet, which is my hope. Fortunately, science and reason are allowing different cultures to be unified.
