I will go :
SH2 because the confuse story, special character, Pyramid head
SH1 because it is the first entry and it felts "news" to me
SH3 too much of the same, too much action, it is getting old
SH4 same as SH3 but painfull repeating level, bullshit "gun" guy following you in the last level
(same shit than in Haunted Ground)
