well what i loved about bungie was all the online features they put in halo. Playlists customising, online stats, database of screenies, video, custom maps, variants and everything was kept online accessible by computer. Forge is my most favourite feature, I truely loved searching bungie.net for racetracks, puzzlemaps, social party games and downloading them with ease.
now coming back to the topic, i really dont think they can manage these features without being as close with microsoft anymore. I dont believe that its impossible, more so believe that microsoft aint ganna be their bitch and finds ways of implementing such features with ease.
I thought Microsoft did a fine job publishing the past games, i dont believe that Activision can match it.
If microsoft managed to sell an expansion for 60 bucks (ODST) expect Activision to sell the inital game at 120 bucks.
I dont hate bungie for signing up for Activision, but i believe Bungie *was* in the best position having microsoft as its bitch. Sure microsoft may put deadlines on the developers, but microsoft would of bent over backwards to help Bungie develop the game. You can prove this with all of the PC/360 exclusives, anything microsofts puts its name next to ends up being as good as any half assed exclusive.
gl Bungie, i hope you have Activision by the balls cos that is the only reason i see the success of their previous games matched.
