Hello boys and girls!

 

I know for all of us English speaking individuals, typing in our native language can be a cumbersome and sometimes painful task.   Cheer Up! CrashMan is here to help!

 

. <- See that little fella? He’s called a ‘period.’  It is used to break up thoughts and statements in to coherent sentences.  Try sticking them in whenever your incoherent fanboy rantings start rambling on.  Now you’re typing with real class!

 

A paragraph is a group of sentences that all deal with the same idea.  Breaking your posts into paragraphs makes for a more enjoyable reading experience for all!

 

Letters have 2 cases: upper case and lower case.  For example ‘I’ and ‘i’ are upper and lowercase symbols for the letter i.  Use upper case letters at the start of sentences, for proper nouns, and when using the pronoun I!

 

‘Where’ is a word to describe the location of something, ‘were’ is the past tense form of the word ‘are’ and we’re is the conjunction for ‘we’ and ‘are’ 

 

“Were are you going” WRONG!

“We were at the soda fountain with Peggy Sue” RIGHT!

 

“Your” describes the ownership of something, “you’re” is the conjunction of “you” and “are”

 

“Your a prickish M$ fanboy, n00b!” WRONG!

“Your hair looks swell today Billy” RIGHT!

 

Use these tips and even you can seem like an intelligent individual online, and not the incoherent douche your friends and family know!
